What You Can Expect From Us During Your Sales Consultation
Our goal for coming to your home for a sales consultation to discuss adding a fireplace or converting an existing wood-burning fireplace to gas is so we can visualize what would be involved in your project, what the space looks like, and which products would work best for you.
This sales consultation is not about closing the deal. We will never push hard sales tactics on you. But we will take the time to get to know you and educate you on your options. We want you to make the right choice for you.
STEPS WE’LL TAKE DURING YOUR HALF-HOUR CONSULTATION
Most in-home sales consultations take 20-30 minutes. During this time, we will:
- Speak with you about your goals for the project.
- Take measurements and enter them into our system.
- Review the fireplace options that best fit your space.
- Discuss features and relative price points of each option.
- Create a comprehensive and detailed proposal, which includes a fixed bid – no unexpected costs will come your way!
- Answer your questions about the products and installation process.
- Deliver to you a current list of professional references and a sample installation contract.
It is important to understand that pricing for projects that include the design, build and installation of custom mantels and/or built-in cabinetry is not always provided during the in-home consult. We always want to deliver accurate information; depending on scope and complexity of your project, additional research may be required.
